2 vehicles burst into flames in Ahero crash along Kisumu-Nairobi Highway » Capital News

KISUMU, Kenya, Feb 25 — Two vehicles burst into flames after a head on collision at Awasi along Kisumu Nairobi Highway on Saturday.

A petrol tanker was reported to be overtaking when it collided with a lorry igniting fire.

The ill-fated lorry was ferrying construction materials. It was however unclear the amount of fuel the tanker which collided with it had.

Both the drivers and touts of the two vehicles escaped death by a whisker.

A fire brigade from Kericho county arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire that extensively damaged the vehicles.
