Samsung Mobile Kenya started selling the Galaxy A80 locally earlier this month although the phone had been around for a while. In the new Galaxy A series, the A80 stands out as the only model that supports Faiba 4G, but that’s only one of the major highlights.
The most revered feature is the triple-lens main camera that flips up to become a selfie camera. Apparently, this camera is being improved via the first software update to the Galaxy A80 since its debut in the country.
Arriving as version A805FXXU2ASG7, the update installs a new Android security patch for July 2019. The changelog also points to improved camera stability. To be more specific, the update adds Autofocus to the front camera functions.
It’s an OTA update whose changelog was published last week, so it should have arrived on your Galaxy A80 by now. If not, go to Settings > Software update section, and tap on Download and install.
