When it comes to speaking out our love language, some of us go all out and express ourselves ‘fluently’ and confidently. On sunny days, it is human nature to go all materialistic and pamper our loved ones with not just any gifts but expensive gifts that leave a long-lasting smile on the face of the recipient.
Well, we might not all agree on this love and materialistic vibe, but one thing is for sure, you can never go wrong with an expensive gift to your loved ones. The following artists have proven this by gifting their beloved.
- Diamond Platnumz
To begin with, there is no doubt the Tanzanian singer is one of the richest musicians in the continent.
Hence, it’s not a big deal for the WCB C.E.O to cough out a ‘few coins’ and buy expensive gifts to his people and he has done that severally.
Recently, Diamond surprised both his mum and girlfriend with customized brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series during their birthday celebration.
He got his mother a white Toyota Land Cruiser V8 and a Toyota Land-cruiser Prado for his girlfriend Tannasha Donna.
- Harmonize
Rajab Abdul Kahali, a.k.a Harmonize has also on several occasions gone all out and surprised his beloved ones with expensive cars. The WCB Record Label artist surprised his parents with two brand new Toyota Harriers last month.
Through an Instagram video, Harmonize documented the surprise and posted the video with the caption, “best Couple In My Life!”
A few days later, he surprised his friend Jose Wamipango with a brand-new Suzuki Swift.
The Tanzanian superstar explained that the gesture to celebrate Wamipango’s birthday was a thank you for his friendship in the ghetto during his younger years when he strived to make it big.
- Nandy
The sensational Tanzanian songstress gifted her personal photographer with a brand-new Toyota Crow Athlete on his birthday last month.
According to the Ninogeshe hitmaker, the car was a reward for the good work he has done during the last three years he has worked for her. Alley, the photographer, took to social media and flaunted his car revealing that in the past, Nandy asked him the model of a car he would wish to drive, and he said any since he didn’t have much knowledge on car models.
It seems that rewarding faithful employees is a culture that many Tanzanian celebrities are adopting.
- Otile Brown
When word went out that he was dumped by his ex-girlfriend Vera Sidika over claims that the socialite declined his request to buy him a brand-new Mercedes Benz, many were surprised, alluding that a ‘real man’ doesn’t ask for materialistic things from his girlfriend.
Shortly after, Otile bought himself the car but did not stop there.
The Celebrated Kenyan artist also known as Bad Man Shivo bought a car for fellow musician Juliet Miriam Ayub, popularly known by her stage name Jovial. Otile said that the gift was just to encourage her and push her to do and achieve more in the industry.
- Khaligraph
You would expect no less when it comes to gifts, from a man who has risen from the bottom through constant hard work.
Kenyan rapper Brian Ouko Omollo alias Khaligraph Jones lives like a king and has a fine taste when it comes to cars.
About a year ago, he gifted his manager, Francis, a new car on his birthday. Taking to the gram, the ‘Mazishi’ rapper posted pictures and a short clip as he presented the car and its logbook to his manager.
Francis and Khaligraph have been friends since high school.
