“All leaders and parents have been sensitized over the importance of the exercise, thus need for the locals to submit all information to the enumerators,” he said.
On his part, Kang’ata said he will offer transport to ensure Murang’a people are counted at home. “We are concerned. The future of the two constituencies hangs in the balance due to low population as they will likely be merged,” he said.
Murang’a County Commissioner Mohammed Barre said all measures have been taken in training the personnel who will be involved in the exercise.
“All systems are set for the exercise. We hope the people of Murang’a will fully participate in the crucial national exercise,” said Barre.
