Prestigious Makini Schools is suffering massive exodus of learners due to poor leadership under new management.
Parents who spoke to Weekly Citizen lamented dwindling academic performance since Schole Limited whose CEO is Adam Nicholas acquired the institutions from the founder Dr Mary Okello.
The new leadership has been accused of turning Makini into a profit driven entity as opposed to maintaining high academic standards.
More worrying is the revelations that teachers handling this year’s exam candidates have been unfairly sacked, a move that’s poised to have a ripple effect on performance of the students.
CEO Adam has denied the allegations pointing that the numbers of students have increased from 3,400 to 3,600 since they took over operations at the institution.
