The body of a 14 girl old girl, who went missing Monday was discovered Tuesday under a culvert on the Kiboswa- Nyahera road in Kisumu West Sub County.
The remains of the slain girl, identified as Violet Adhiambo was found blindfolded with her arms tied to her back.
According to the deceased mother Evelyne Akelo, the form one student was last seen on Monday at 3 pm when she left for the stream to fetch water.
Shocked residents of Nyahera threatened to take the law into their hands if police fail to take action and apprehend culprits.

Human Rights defenders, led by Mathias Shipata called on police to intensity patrols especially during this census period to ensure thugs do not take advantage of unsuspecting Kenyans.
Area Assistant Chief Mr Oremo confirmed the incident and said the matter was under police investigations.
The body was moved by police to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue pending an autopsy.
