Lula, a shuttle service connecting corporate commuters to private shuttles has been named the winner of the 2019 Southern Africa Startup Awards — South Africa Chapter.
Southern Africa Startup Awards celebrates and recognizes innovation in the startup ecosystem in Southern Africa (SADC). Each of 15 SADC Country will produce a Country Winner from 19 categories that will move on to the Regional Grand Finale that is scheduled to take place from November 27-28, 2019, Johannesburg.
Six Regional Winners will then move on to compete at Global Startup Awards.
LULA benefits cities by reducing congestion, increasing accessibility through crowdsourced routes and encouraging more liveable spaces. Through LULA, residents of cities change the way they experience mobility by integrating ride-sharing, increased comfort and efficiency in daily transport. LULA also helps transport providers take their service to the next level by bringing them to a larger audience, digitising their fleet and improving their utilisation rates.
