Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, aka Dr. Pimple Popper is getting fancy on her Youtube channel. It’s only Monday, but she is sharing some never-before-seen pops for her loyal fans. Have you ever heard of a pilomatricoma before? Don’t worry if you haven’t, you’re about to get a crash course in them.
In her latest Youtube video, Dr. Pimple Popper is tackling two giant boulders of pilomatricomas on her patient’s face. One is located on her cheek and the other is right on her eyelid.
FYI A pilomatricoma is a noncancerous (aka benign) skin tumor associated with hair follicles. They are more common in people age 20 and younger, but once they are surgically removed they are unlikely to recur, per the National Institutes of Health.
“It’s a little cyst or blackhead stuck under there,” Dr. Pimple Popper tells her patient during her consultation. “Let’s get that out.” Easier said than done, for this type of growth. “They’re harder to get out because they’re stuck to you,” the dermatologist explains.
Dr. Pimple Popper works to release the solid contents with her scissors. She trims away around the boulder inside, until she finally frees it. Then, she moves over to the pilomatricoma on the eyelid and does the same thing. This one is truly cringe-worthy. Dr. Pimple Popper pokes her scissors so very close to her patient’s eye. “Come on little friend,” she says as she works. She trims and squeezes again, and extracts the rock inside.
Naturally, Dr. Pimple Popper’s fans are super impressed with her work. The dermatologist managed to squeeze a sizable rock out of a very precarious position, so it is well-deserved. One fan commented, “How could that fit is such a small space! Holy Cow. ?”
“I got so frustrated I began to feel like an exorcist! GET OUT! COME FORTH! BE GONE SATAN!” With the help of her virtual fans and her handy tools, Dr. Pimple Popper extracted the pilomatricoma for good. Now, you can add another favorite pop to your list of videos.
