‘These are early signs of menopause,’ says Akothee after collapsing on stage

Singer Akothee is back on social media after collapsing last weekend while performing Luo Festival in Kisumu.

Akothee is currently at her Rongo ‘retirement’ home, where she’s recuperating. She shared photos of a tour of her multimillion home and revealed that she can’t stay in bed the whole day.

Akothee also revealed that she was suffering from fatigue and in another post, she wrote,

I never embarrassed myself on stage with rubbish fatigue and fainting ?‍♂️?‍♂️, this time, I just allowed you do your shakara. You should have come in 2007 when I was the most hungry frustrated bitch. Listen,  worry not, these are early signs of MENOPAUSE ????, you will not win, trust me. Don’t bring for me diseases of the rich e.g fatigue, fatigue. I should bedrest as if I am a friend of sleep! Even sleeping alone is a punishment.

The 38-year-old mother of five has suffered fatigue twice in the last two years while on transit at a local airport last year and while in Switzerland in 2017.
