Suspect arraigned over murder of KMTC lecturer

A suspect was on Thursday presented in court and detained for 14 days in connection with the murder of a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) lecturer.

Jackson Nzaghi Wambua was on Wednesday arrested by homicide detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Mwingi town over the gruesome killing of Eunice Kiema.

A Probox vehicle as well as documents relating to it and bearing the name of the deceased were recovered during the sting operation.

DCI detectives investigating the case suspect that ownership of the vehicle could have been the cause of the murder.
