Vlogger Sharon Mundia aka This is Ess has responded to a fan who called her a masculine lesbian.
Addressing the troll through her Youtube channel, she told off body shamers.
I don’t believe I owe anyone an explanation but I did feel strongly that I wanted to address this. My intention is that it will help others be more compassionate and thoughtful with their words – especially given the times we’re living in. My other intention was to make clear that body shaming or commenting negatively on someone’s sexuality is not something I tolerate on my platform.
Hope you’re doing well and as always, thank you for your love and support! ‘ she stated.

The mother of one revealed that she was trying to work out and the negative comments about her body didn’t matter.
your thoughts on my body… i don’t care. You saying I’m muscular, I’ve been trying to work on it. To get my arms and legs… I want to have strong limbs/ body so I sent that message to one of my trainers that someone just called me masculine,’ she said.
Adding,
I like my body and that’s all that matters.
This is Ess addressed the rumor that she was a lesbian, saying,
As for whether I am a lesbian or not. One, I don’t see that as an insult and two, I’m not a lesbian…Someone’s sexual orientation to me is kind of saying aah! You’re Muslim, I’m not a Muslim or telling me you’re Egptytian, but I’m not I’m a Kenyan, what’s your point? That to me is not of anybody’s business what someone’s sexual orientation is and what they want for themselves, who’s in their bed shouldn’t matter to anybody. but I guess in our society it matters a lot and people are judged and crucified and their lives made a lot harder because of it and that to me sucks.
She continued,
‘I don’t know why someone would be bothered by that. That doesn’t say about someone’s character to me whether they’re good, kind, honorable…that shouldn’t matter but to a lot of people it does and in this country it is seen as an insult.
I’m not but I guess to some calling me masculine and a lesbian must have felt like a big insult to that person and it must have made them feel a little better about themselves but I don’t think that deep down they feel good about themselves because anyone who goes out of their way to do something like that might make someone uncomfortable, unhappy, upset, they can’t be happy with themselves.

Just like many, This is Ess doesn’t tolerate trolls and she said,
So I ended up blocking that person. If you have to say something and you’re trying to make me uncomfortable but in doing so you’re probably making other people uncomfortable, coz I imagine if someone who’s a lesbian and they see that comment and other people are commenting and it’s just like a whole discussion then you won’t do that on my channel, you can run around on your streets and do that on your platforms, I’m not gonna allow my space to be that outlet for you.
