Bien Amie and Chiki Kuruka are a couple you look at and can’t hold your self from saying, aww. They are just too cute.
Kiss100 asked Bien when and where did he meet Chiki.
As they say, a man can look at a woman and know she is the one he is going to marry. So was the case for Bien.
“We met in the car park at the Talib Kweli concert. That was on the 23rd of October at Ebony Lounge, Westlands. If you do the math, we have dated for 5 years going on 6,” bIEN AND chIKI ANSWERED
The two added that their relationship with their in-laws has been an easy path because they have understanding parents and more to that Bien just won Chiki’s family’s hearts.
“He knew my mum for a long time her family is my family our parents are very liberal it wasn’t hard to date and plan for marriage,” Chiki said
Speaking on their wedding day, Chiki said people are still mad at them for not getting an invite to their special day.
Since our life was in the public, we took our wedding very seriously and personal. It wasn’t something for the gram it was for the two of us. As soon as it goes to the gram you have to deal with so much the good the bad and the ugly especially the bile comments. We just wanted it to be for us.
Chiki added giving her fans advice saying that,
Your family will give you pressure but you need to be man or woman enough to say no.
The dance choreographer and fitness trainer said that in her marriage, Bien motivates her to be a better person because of what she sees in him, a better person.
The only problem they have is that they both know Bien is petty.
“I am the king of pettiness and I keep grudges but I am slowly leaning towards working on that,” Bien said
The two may look like their relationship is all rosy but just like any other marriage, they fight but they have found ways to work through the fights.

“Friendship keeps us sane. We fight but we talk about it. Relationships work when there is communication we work through things and we hang out.” The couple said.
Bien and Chiki got married a month and a few days ago but Coronavirus stopped their honeymoon plans. Though they say it was a blessing in disguise.
If they spent a lot of money then, they would be suffering financially now that money is tight and gigs have been paused which is where they both get their money from.
