Akothee’s daughter, Rue Baby, has spoken out about the hard time she had, appreciating her body while growing up.
She says she was subjected to names from her peers, with some calling her thin and sticks.
The model says that it all changed when she learned to appreciate her petite body the way it is.
‘GROWING UP I NEVER REALLY APPRECIATED BEING CALLED THIN OR STICKS. I HAD A HARD TIME ACCEPTING MY BODY THE WAY IT IS.
She encouraged men and women out there battling insecurities with their bodies, urging them to ‘own them’
BUT THEN I REALIZED ITS WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT ME AND I STARTED LOVING IT. SO ABOUT YOUR VARIOUS BODY INSECURITIES JUST OWN THEM AND LOVE THEM.’
It is weird how she was called all types of names while there are million of ladies out there who would kill to have Rue Baby’s banging petite body.
