Deputy President William Ruto has called for better cooperation between Kenya and Romania especially on bilateral trade and investment.
Ruto spoke in Karen Nairobi County after holding talks with outgoing Romania Ambassador to Kenya Julia Pataki.
“Cooperation between Kenya and Romania have sustained huge growth, giving room for the exploration of many opportunities that are mutually beneficial to the people,” He said.

The DP lauded the outgoing Ambassador for enhancing relations between the two Countries during her stay in Kenya.

“The two countries have common but unique tourism and agricultural products especially tea and coffee whose potential is largely untapped. Kenya, too, has much to learn from Romania on cybersecurity that remains a challenge in a fast-changing technological world,” He said.
