A woman in Nairobi’s Dandora area is appealing for help to find her husband who was allegedly kidnapped last week.
Maceline Wairimu says that her husband Martin Githuka left the house to go to the shop only for him to not return.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio News Wairimu says that she has been receiving calls and messages from unknown people asking her to give them money for them to release her husband.
She says that the first call she got was from a man who claimed that he was in Mwea. The man told her that he had her husband and wanted money for him to be released.
The second call was allegedly made by a man who stated that he was in Thika and was living with the husband.
According to Wairimu her husband who was a Jua Kali artisan had no known enemies and did not understand why he was taken by kidnappers.
She has since reported the matter to Kinyago Police Station but has received no help.
