Following the announcement by Qatar University, the hotel room where Argentina captain Lionel Messi lodged in during the world cup will be converted to a mini museum.
The room which was shared with Messi’s longtime friend and former colleague Sergio Aguero will no longer receive guests, according to the Qatar’s news agency QNA
Messi who is a 7-time Ballon d’Or winner was influential in his nation’s first win after 36 years and was announced player of the tournament after scoring two goals in the final. They argue, it is in that room that Messi won two Golden balls, equaled Pele’s 13 world cup goals and became Argentina’s top world cup goal scorer. Before the goals record was held by Gabriel Batistuita who had 10 goals.
