Nigerian stars Burna Boy, Tems and Asake are among the artists from the African continent set to perform at this year’s Coachella Music Festival.
From Friday April 14th , through Sunday, April 23, 2023, the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert will play host to the yearly music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
The flyer of artists set to perform has been officially released on Coachella’s Instagram page.

In 2019, Burna Boy sparked a sensation when his name was revealed on the schedule but was written in small characters, and Coachella, which has previously hosted African artists on their stage, earned more fame in Nigeria.
Joining Burna Boy, Asake and Tems is Ghanaian music sensation, coroner of the hit song ‘Kwanku The Traveller’, Black Sherif.
Headliners include Canadian singer Justin Bieber, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and American singer-songwriter Frank Ocean who will lead the festival’s three days of musical performances.
This would be Burna Boy’s second performance, while Tems, Asake and Black Sherif would be making their first ever appearances.
