KERUGOYA, Kenya Jan 22 – A section of Members of Parliament allied to President William Ruto have dismissed allegations by Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party that last August’s Presidential Election results were manipulated in favour of President William Ruto.

Speaking during an Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service in Kerugoya, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro and Ugenya MP Dave Ochieng cited latest outbursts that Raila’s votes were stolen in Mt Kenya were fictitious and lacked merit.

Nyoro urged the opposition to play their oversight role and stop bashing the government on matters that will not eradicate the economic woes the ordinary Kenyan is facing.

“The circus is now becoming a comic. The other day we heard them claim, they have a whistle-blower, who had their own server, their own computer and their own Form 34A, upon which he relied to compute the parallel results of last August’s Presidential election. You cannot put to whistle blow and person whistle-blowing is your employee, who you owe debts to,”

“I want to tell these whistle-blowers that they could have put their whistle blowing services could have been better placed during the just concluded FIFA World Cup in Qatar,” he added.

He said calls for rallies and demonstrations will not intimidate the President but further challenged the Azimio brigade to ensure businesses are not affected during the rally.

“I will ask for permission from our President if possible the government to take water and sodas there so that the demonstrators can take as they continue with their demonstrations” the Kiharu stated.

Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Coalition Party Raila Odinga is expected to issue a compressive statement on Monday on claims by a whistleblower that August 9, 2022 presidential election was rigged.

Raila will issue the statement at a rally in Kamukunji Grounds in Nairobi upon his arrival from South Africa.

Ochieng on the other hand confirmed that both Ruto and Gachagua are working in unity thus leaders should emulate them.

“There are those who are wallowing in the miasma of their own self authored, self-published conspiracy theories about the last elections. Why did they wait until Chebukati left office to unveil their so-called dossier? These people are still bitter about losing the elections and should not be allowed to distract us from the task of nation development,,” he said.
