Kindiki effects changes for County Commissioners

NAIROBI, Kenya Mar 7 – Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has made changes among County Commissioners in all 47 Counties.

In the new changes, Kindiki has transferred 20 County Commissioners, promoted 12 deputies, and recalled four to the Ministry.

The changes did not affect fifteen Commissioners.

“The changes are meant to enhance service delivery,” he said.

Among those who have new postings include: Josephine Ouko who has been moved to Busia from Kisumu, Joshua Nkanatha has been moved from Kiambu to Embu, Abdirisack Jaldesac has been moved from Baringo to Mombasa.

Others are Gideon Oyagi whose new posting is in Trans-Nzoia from Kwale, and Mohammed Barre will now be posted in Nyandarua from Nyeri.

Those who have been recalled to the Ministry include Herman Shambi (Nandi), Mathias Rioba (Trans-Nzoia), Michael Ivuto (Kirinyaga), and Stephen Kihara (Embu).
