As the world marks International Women’s Day, Kenyan songbird Nadia Mukami has celebrated it with fellow colleagues in the industry as she has released a song on women empowerment.
Nadia who also goes by the title African Popstar has recruited female artists that is Brandy Maina, Avril, Pryshon and Wahu on the hit dubbed ‘Superwoman.’

In the song, the five extremely talented ladies celebrate women who are making a difference in the world.
“Mwanamke mpambanaji, mwanamke hodari, mwanamke anapenda kazi, mwanamke jasiri. I’M A SUPERWOMAN.” Nadia sings partly before the sweet-voiced Brandy Maina takes over.
The lovely Avril then comes in with her killer voice after the chorus followed by Pryshon who throws dollars in the air as a sign of celebrating women’s financial independence.
Award winning singer Wahu does the last part of the song in front of a kitchen prop mentioning how women, especially mothers, are selfless and always put the needs of their families before anything else.
