NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 17 – The status quo in the top five of the FKF Premier League standings remained the same heading into the international break as the top two sides, Gor Mahia and KCB, played to a 0-0 draw at the Nyayo National Stadium on Friday.

With Tusker FC having played to a 2-2 draw against Ulinzi Stars, the same result posted by Police FC and Nzoia Sugar, the difference on the table remains.

Gor would have gone seven clear with a win against the bankers, but they couldn’t create much. Their best chance of the game fell on Austin Odhiambo with four minutes of regulation time left when he swung a volley against the side netting from close range.

KCB also had a good chance in the first half when Kennedy Owino picked the ball on the left unmarked and with keeper Gad Mathews off his line, but he fired his shot wide.
