The nine year old boy from Riangombe Boarding Primary School was allegedly caned 107 strokes of cane by his teacher Jackson Marucha.
He was reportedly caned for not being in his school uniform on Sunday.

Boy hidden with injuries in dormotory
The boy’s uncle says that the teacher then reportedly gave the boy more strokes of cane for reportedly going to class late.
“I received a telephone call yesterday after work. At around 7pm, my brother informed me from Nairobi that he had information that his son had been injured in school and asked me to go and verify the report.”
“I asked my brother how he had known about the injury of his son. He told me that our last born brother happened to be around Manga where there were some sports going on. He said that since the school is within the vicinity, he decided to go and visit him,” added the uncle.
The teacher then allegedly hid him in the dormitory without helping him seek medical attention.
It is his fellow students who leaked information of the injured boy to a passerby during sports day.
The child is currently being treated at the Nyamira Level 5 Hospital.
