John Kiarie, the Dagoretti South lawmaker has amused Kenyans once again by drawing in meetings.

The drawing which was sketched using a pen has since attracted comments from his users.

Kiarie a comedian turned politician was in parliament and listening in to the proceedings before he took his paper and pen and drew.

In his social media post, Kiarie attached some of his colleagues and from their facial expressions, he also added emojis to depict their faces.

Further, the photo shows a witness with experience shooting themselves in the leg. He screams in excruciating pain. He inscribes the word’ shoot’ on the paper.

“Just when you think you’ve heard it all… #TelkomInquiry 🤦🏽‍♂️ Then BOOM!” he tweeted.

His artistic piece attracted comments from Kenyans who praised him for not doing away with his art even after joining politics.

Here are some of the comments;

Last month, Kiarie while attending the post-election seminar for the National Assembly, rolled back the years with a funky sketch done with a ball pen.

The sketch depicts a girl with afro hair, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of earrings, and a headband with a shield. The girl’s hair is inscribed with the word ‘soul.’

Before joining politics, Kiarie made a name for himself as part of the Redykyulass troop. He also taught at Materi Girls Center and State House Girls High School before becoming a strip cartoonist for the Sunday Nation.

While drawing is like riding a bicycle, once you get the craft you can never forget it, Kiarie has ensured that he keeps sharpening his skills in his different political meetings.

He was first elected to Parliament in 2017 on a Jubilee Party of Kenya ticket. In last year’s General Election, he successfully contested the Dagoretti South seat on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
