Kawangware couples have been harged before Milimani magistrate court for allegedly without permission, transferring ksh 300k from.
The duo Kennedy Kipchumba and Juliah Wangari were paraded before Senior Resident Magistrate Susan Shitubi, where they jointly denied involvement.
According to the prosecution on 10th July 2023 at Kyuna Road construction site situated in Westlands within Nairobi stole money from complainant Dishon Ndembi of the said amount by way of transferring from his money to another mobile money account.
The trial magistrate directed each of the accused persons to be admitted to a bond term of ksh 100k or an alternative cash bail of 50k.

She also directed the accused persons to be furnished with any documentary evidence the prosecution will rely on during the trial.
The matter will be mentioned for pretrial on 2nd October 2023.
Early their defence cousel pleaded with court to release his clients on free bond, intimating that Kennedy and Wangari are young persons of low income cadre with you child who depend on them.
