Kenyan international Allan Wanga scored in stoppage time to deny reigning Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia maximum points in an entertaining league match played at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
Nicholas Kipkirui scored the opener for ‘Kogallo’ minutes before the breather.
Wanga rescued a crucial point for the hosts in extra time with his 13th goal of the season.
The draw sees Gor Mahia return back to the summit of the log on 45 points same as Sofapaka and Bandari who occupy position two and three respectively.

Kenya Premier League side Vihiga United has officially unveiled five new signings who were roped in during the mid-season transfer window.
The five players; Patient Ndikuriyo, Caleb Wanyonyi, Levis Opiyo, Johnson Muyesu and Elijah Mwanzia were presented at a brief ceremony at the team’s training ground, Kidundu Stadium.
Ndikuriyo a Burundian shot-stopper, joined the team from Burundian champions Black Eagles FC with the remaining two goalkeepers Wanyonyi and Opiyo joining the side from FKF Division One side Vihiga Bullets and Posta Rangers respectively.
The new signings were brought in by Coach Mike Mururi who was dismissed earlier in the week after a string of poor results that has seen the team occupy the third position from bottom in the Kenya Premier League standings.
