Over 800 students and Kesgon residents were elated when KCB Ladies volleyball team paid a courtesy call to Kesgon Mixed secondary school on Friday morning.
The team held a full day volleyball clinic with the schools’ volleyball team.,The two teams held mixed training sessions that focused on drills, ball techniques and latest technology in volleyball followed by later had a friendly game that KCB won 24-13
Kesogon Secondary school principal Mr.Simon Simiyu lauded KCB for the initiative of up scaling the volleyball talent for his players.
“We are very grateful to KCB Bank Kenya for this noble gesture, the students learnt quite a lot and we were able to improve on key areas” said Simiyu.
The bank presented 22 training balls , uniforms , shoes and training gear to the institution. among other goodies.Speaking during the ceremony, KCB Group Internal Communications Manager Ann Mathenge reiterated that the bank is committed towards the nurturing off volleyball talent in the region.
” Kesogon presents a perfect opportunity for us to nurture talent in volleyball, we would like to partner with the institution in talent sustenance for KCB Ladies team” said Ann.
KCB will head to Eldoret for the Amaco Tournament that serves off on Saturday 26th May 2019.
