Detectives from FBI, DCI and homicide officers are exhuming the body of a nine-month-old boy buried secretly at Dow Family Children’s Home in Konoin onstituency, Bomet County.
Government closed the home was closed in 2017 following allegations of sexual abuse against orphans at the home by the owner, Gregory Dow.
Dow fled the country to avoid prosecution.
Konoin OCPD Alex Shikondi said the exhumation will help initiating charges against the home owner.

Government pathologist Johnson Odour is among state officials involved in the exhumation exercise.
