Drama as male MP punches female counterpart at parliament – Weekly Citizen

Wajir women representative Fatuma Gendi exchanged blows with her Wajir East counterpart Rashid Amin in Parliament.

According to sources it all started when Amin assaulted Fatuma calling her a con woman something that Gedi did not take lightly.

The two Muslim leaders were separated by those present as tempers flared.

At the time Gedi was with Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga

Amin is said to have accused the female MP for sabotaging allocation of money to his constituency during the budget and appropriation committee visit in Wajir.

Amin punched Ms Gedi on her face twice, forcing Wajir West MP Ahmed Kolosh to come to her rescue as she bled.
