Dandora residents have demolished a barrier that was put by a contractor who was building Dandora Stadium for four years now.
The residents say that for four years now they have not been able use the road out by the contractor on the stalled Dandora Stadium project
The residents say that their children have been forced the longest route to school because of the barrier.
” Our children schooling at Tom mboya primary have been forced to use the longest distance to school. It is very unfortunate.
They say all businesses that were around the stadium were closed when the construction commenced.
“Phase four has become a dead city because if this stalled project. People are forced to go elsewhere for business because of this barrier,” said another resident.
They have urged Nairobi Governor Johnson sakaja to finish dandora stadium as most of the youths who were using the stadium are turning to crime and are loing their lives more.
They say sakaja should close only the stadium gate and leave alone the public road for them to use.
