Applications are now open again for the Startup Support Program inICT and Agriculture, an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Promotion and Employment, led by the Agence Emploi Jeune(Youth Employment Agency) and Seedstars.
Holding at Seedspace Abidjan, the programme is looking for startups with solutions in the agricultural or new technology sector with at least a prototype or a project not more than 2 years old. The growth potential and positive impact that the startup can generate will also be taken in consideration.
“Our mission is to support young Ivorians who want to launch their
project. This program, set up by AEJ, provides a favorable environment for
these entrepreneurs,” says Fanny Dauchez, Academy Manager at Seedstars.
The selected people will benefit from a 6-months support program to
develop their solutions. The program includes: weekly training developed by entrepreneurs
and experts from all over the world, technical modules (excel, digital
marketing…), online courses as well as mentoring sessions and the provision
of offices, at Seedspace Abidjan.
Already 20 entrepreneurs have joined this program. “I find the
courses very interactive and well delivered. The program is an opportunity to
have access to quality training as it is normally expensive to benefit from it
otherwise. I look forward to learn more,” says Archangel Brou, a
participant in the first class and founder of Aladain.
Registrations are open until June 2, 2019, and
startups are invited to apply via the questionnaire: https://seedsta.rs/aej-applications
