The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance has setteled on Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Kenneth Marende as candidates for the Senate and National Speakers respectively.
The decision was arrived at during a Parliamentary Group meeting held today at the Masai Lodge.
Marende will face Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula who has been nominated by Kenya Kwanza to vie for Speaker of the National Assembly.

Kalonzo on the other hand will face former Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi who is being fronted by Kenya Kwanza.
MPs are set to take oath of office on Thursday then embark on the business of electing the speaker.
The oath will be administered by Acting Clerk of the National Assembly Serah Kioko.
