Bandari set a new record for coast clubs by becoming the first club to finish second in the modern era Kenyan Premier League.
The Dockers rallied to hold Sofapaka in a rescheduled league match played at the Mbaraki Sports Grounds on Thursday morning. The match was to be played on Wednesday at the same venue but was postponed due to heavy downpour.
William Wadri equalised for Bandari in the second half to cancel out Kepha Aswani’s first half goal. The Mombasa based side now has an unassailable 59 points and are now assured of second place ahead of Sofapaka and AFC Leopards.
