So she wasn’t shy about spending a smooth $80k (ksh8 million) on diamonds for her not-yet one-year-old daughter, Kulture, on Monday, bragging about her purchases in a now-deleted Instagram post.
It comes as the songstress revealed her new song Press will be be released on Friday (31st May).
In the Instagram clip, Cardi, 26, revealed her shopping spree, even showing little Kulture wearing one of the brand new bracelets.
The video opened with the rapper saying,
Just spent a bag on my daughter, you know a bad b**** gonna spoil.
She tagged New York-based Pristine Jewelers in the post, before continuing to explain her actions, saying, ‘If I’m iced out my daughter gotta be too.’
Kulture’s fiery mom then added:
YEUP IM BRAGGING CAUSE I BUST MY A– TO DO SOO
Cardi’s original Instagram post also included a screenshot of a text message, along with a picture of the new merchandise.
‘Everything will be ready at 3, bracelets are Comin out cuteeee and changed the setting to the studs with the bigger pair, send ur guy at 3 also pls call Linda and tell her to wire the 80k, I just spoke to her she needs ur approval,’ wrote the jeweler handling the Girls Like You rapper’s transaction.
Cardi also announced the release of her hotly-anticipated single Press,
The Money hitmaker previously gave fans a glimpse of the song back in December, rapping: ‘Press, press, press, press, press/ Cardi don’t need more press.’
She continued, ‘Please tell me who she’s gonna check, run and see, Cardi made a mess. Pop pop, guess who, b***h? Pop pop guess who b***h?’
