Blended families are on the increase in Kenya. Such are made up of parents and children or a child from previous relationships.

These celebrity families have proved to be functioning quite well.

Gospel artiste Bahati and Diana are also a blended family because the couple also incorporates Mueni a daughter Bahati had in a past relationship.

Philip Karanja is the step father to Catherine’s son Leon. The two walked down the aisle last year in an invite only wedding.

She has three daughters and two sons from different marriages. Akothee had four daughters from her first marriage and bore three children between the ages of 14 to 16.

One of her kids died because she could not afford to take her to hospital. She later gave birth to her fourth daughter in the year 2000.

Her sons are a relationships with a white man who she claimed was only interested in having children with her but not marriage.
