Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua yesterday weighed in on the Samido love triangle drama.
Speaking in Kiambu Gachagua asked Samido to control his ‘people’ and stop the embarrassment.
“Si tunapenda hii Samido, na nyimbo zake lakini kuna pahali anatuangusha kidogo. Samido control watu yako,” said Gachagua amidst applause from the audience.
Gachagua was speaking in reference to the drama that happened in Dubai where Samido, his wife Eday Nderitu and nominated Senator Karen Nyamu were involved in a drama.
“Samido wewe ni rafiki yangu nitakuketisha chini unajua hatutaki wazungu wajue mambo yetu vile tunakaanga hapa. Unajua hii wazungu ni mtu moja moja na hatitaki mambo yetu itoke huko nje,” he stated.
Gachagua further threatened to discipline Samido by stopping his trips abroad.
“Na ukishindwa because you are one of our officers tutakudiscipline, tutakukataza wewe kwenda ng’ambo ama ukienda utaenda peke yako ndiyo tusipate aibu.”
The Dubai drama had Nyamu kicked out of the club after an altercation with Eday.
Nyamu has two children with Samido.
