DCI detectives are searching for two men who were taped giving bhang to a child.
The video which has gone viral on social media shows the two smoking the roll and passing it to the little boy, who in turn smokes it but chokes in the process.
DCI has urged the public to give any information they might have of the two men and the child because as the boy’s life might be in danger.
“Can you identify these men? Do you know them? We’d like to speak to them in connection to this video that was brought to our attention-we’re extremely worried about the child. If you can recognise them or have any information that may further our investigations, kindly DM us,” DCI said in a tweet.
Kenyans on Twitter expressed their disgust and disappointment upon watching the video.
John Okach wrote, “What kind of beasts are these!?”
Nyambane said, “Very devastating”
“This one’s you don’t need to speak to them nikuwashika na kuwafunga kabsa [they should be arrested and jailed],” Comrade Bob tweeted.
Fauz Khalid said, “That’s a polite way of saying ‘we want to arrest them’”
“Pay attention to the kids cough!!! This is very sad,” said Kerubo Sonia.
Msooh expressed her concern saying, “What do you mean When you say “speak?”….. These are people who should be taken to Shimo La Tewa and if possible they should be taken to Black Dolphin prison in Russia….”
Charlie Mwabili added, “Put the video on local tv stations. Internet alone is not enough. Only 15% of the populace has access or can afford internet.”
“This is so wrong and embarrassing they should be arrested and questioned,” said Peter Thumbi.
