WCB producer Lizer, popularly known as Eyo Lizer, is still part and parcel of the Diamond Platnumz-owned record label.

The renowned record producer was rumored to have followed in the footsteps of Harmonize and Rich Mavoko by quitting the music stable.

But in a recent interview with Wasafi media, Eyo Lizer explained his absence from the Wasafi studios saying he was sick and needed some time off. He also rubbished rumors that he had slipped into depression because of work-related stress.

“No, I didn’t have stress. I remember when I was sick another producer had to do my work. I was indoors for three weeks because it was malaria,” he said.

“I’m still at WCB. I’m the official producer there. My contract is still intact.”

Lizer observed that people have been claiming he left Wasafi because he doesn’t post photos with Diamond on social media.

I’m not photophobic. I don’t really need to post, I don’t even have a photo with Diamond. Most times, I do work with him and Tanasha and I don’t take photos. Tanasha is fresh, we are just working very well,” he said.

The producer also spoke about witchcraft saying that he believes in black magic.

“I do believe that there is witchcraft. I have heard people use witchcraft and people bewitching each other. I do believe these things are there. I have never been bewitched and I have never thought about it.”
