A wedding ceremony between lovers Lee Njiru and Maureen Wangithi had to be delayed more than three hours after the bride was involved in an accident at Gathoge in Kirinyaga county.

The team was heading from Embu to the wedding venue in Kiamutugu village, Gichugu sub-county.
The couple reportedly hired the luxurious white car at a cost of KSh 200,000 for their big day as they looked forward to write love story.
No serious injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
The bride was, however, forced to seek services of a less swanky vehicle to avoid any further delay.
“We hired the limousine at KSh 200,000 to transport the bride but right now she will be transported to the Christians Worship International Ministry in another vehicle, it is a big loss,” a member of the bridal team in charge of transport lamented.
