The national government is building three centres in Embu County that will be equipped with machinery to allow self-employed youth to engage in entrepreneurship.
Enterprise Development Assistant Director Edward Munoru said yesterday work on the constituency industrial development centres (CIDCs) was progressing well.
“The CIDCs were constructed at the constituency level to provide common user facilities for micro and small enterprises, and promote industrial development,” Mr Munoru said.
The director was giving a progress report to the County Development Implementation Coordination Committee.
