Chief Justice Martha Koome has directed courts to ensure that cases on minors are solved within a year.
Speaking in Kisumu Children’s Remand Home, the President of the Supreme Court regretted that minors have had a difficult time in getting their cases solved and promised quick justice for them.

She regretted the hurdles that the minors had to endure in their pursuit for justice.
Justice Koome further revealed that the National Council on Administration of Justice will work tirelessly to rid the justice system of minors whom she said do not belong in confinement institutions.
