The baddest and ugliest side of Kenyan dancehall artiste Redsan has been exposed in a leaked audio recording, just days after the launch of his latest studio album, Baddest.
The audio, which has since gone viral, was reportedly recorded when Redsan allegedly pounced on and assaulted a Tanzanian producer who is credited for the newly released album.
In the audio, a voice similar to Redsan’s is heard arguing with the producer, who goes by the name Sappy.
According to the producer and another musician by the name Avid, Redsan stormed their studio as they were working and a noisy confrontation ensued thereafter.
In the audio, Redsan (real name Swabri Mohammed) is heard shouting at Sappy.
“Nataka usimame wewe ni mwanaume. Simama,” Redsan is heard saying with sounds of what appear to be slaps and chairs being pulled also being heard.

As the commotion escalates, the producer keeps asking the artiste why he’s beating him up.
“Mbona unanipiga? Nini mbaya Red? Si uniue, niue!” the producer says.
The audio ends with someone being heard calling out the security officers to step in and kick out Redsan from the premises, while lamenting why he was let in to beat them up.
It is not yet clear what caused the fight even after Sappy and Avid took to social media to share images of the injuries they suffered following Redsan’s alleged attack.
This is the latest incident that has marred Redsan’s much-hyped album launch.
On Monday Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage, who alongside Jamaica’s Demarco were the star guest artistes during the launch, shocked her fans with claims that event organizers left her ‘stranded’ in her hotel with unpaid bills.
Redsan later responded by threatening to expose the rogue promoters who neglected Tiwa Savage after her performance at the Carnivore Grounds.
