A fire broke out at Gikomba Market at around 9PM. The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
Fire fighters arrived in the area on time and contained the fire. No injuries have been reported so far.
This comes a day after a fire has razed down structures in Nairobi’s Kangemi slum.

The inferno broke in the Sodom area under unclear circumstances.
There have annual fire at the market with many of the causes of the fire ending up unresolved. The governor Mike Sonko had promised that he would build a modern Market so as to finally resolve the fire out breaks.
