A 17-year-old girl in Mwingi is suspected to have committed suicide yesterday.
Her mother found the body dangling from a tree at 10am.
The girl was in Form 1. She did not leave a suicide note.
Her mother said the girl had complained of stomach pains and when she was told to prepare to go to the hospital, she committed suicide.
“She did not seem upset, despite complaining of stomach pains,” the mother said.
