A Form Two student has been accused of stabbing her 29-year-old boyfriend to death in Bomet.
The 18-year-old reportedly had a disagreement with the man at Boito, Konoin.
According to Konoin police boss Alex Shikondi, the student had met the boyfriend at the market center where he worked as a shoe shiner.
A quarrel ensued with witnesses claiming that the Form Two student accused the man of being unfaithful.
The irate suspect reportedly left after the argument but returned with a knife.
It is alleged that she bought the knife at a nearby shop and used it to stab the unsuspecting man.
He was stabbed on the upper part of his neck one the left and died instantly.
The body has since been moved to Kapkatet mortuary.
The Form Two student is in custody at Mogogosiek Police Station.
