Former Gor- Mahia and Afc Leopards Coach Zdravko Logarušić has been appointed the Kenya Police head.
The struggling law enforcers have appointed the Croat for a one year renewable contract days after sending their Coach Francis Baraza on a compulsory leave due to the team poor start in the league.
They are winless having played four matches and are 16th in FKFPL standings.
Logarusic will be assisted by former Kakamega HomeBoyz Tactician Salim Babu who has retained his position as the assistant coach.
In the Kenya premier league Logarusic had one of the most successful stint at Gor Mahia.
He arrived at Kogalo in dire straits but soon started to stamp his imprint in the team.
He started out by trimming the squad from over 30 players to a more manageable 25.
Gor Mahia went on 18 match unbeaten streak and came within a point of winning the 2012 league.
His first match in charge will be this Saturday against Bidco United at the Police Sacco Stadium.
He left the club in 2012 at the start of 2013, much was expected from Gor Mahia. They started well and were atop the league standings by the halfway point of the league.
Logarusic then went home on leave and declined to return to the club until some issues were sorted out. Gor Mahia then terminated him for absconding duty.
