Journalist Bonnie Musambi is the new Director of Coordination at State House, under the office of the Spokesperson.

The former Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) news presenter on Tuesday confirmed the appointment and extended his gratitude to President William Ruto.

“Wow! Just wow! My immeasurable gratitude to God and you Mr President, for my appointment as Director Coordination, State House. I promise my full dedication and loyalty to you and all Kenyans,” Musambi tweeted.

The journalist also thanked former United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party Chairperson Johnson Muthama for his support and mentorship through his life’s journey.

“Special thanks to Commissioner Hon. Johnson Nduya Muthama for mentorship and unwavering support. To my family, fans and political supporters, I will never let you down,” he wrote.

Musambi resigned from KBC last year to vie for the Kitui Central MP seat under President Ruto-led UDA party ticket but lost to Wiper’s Dr Makali Mulu.
