Days after being laid off from NTV, Brenda Mulinya Wanga wife to Kenyan footballer has spoken saying that she and others who lost their jobs, will rise again.
Wanga was laid off alongside Ken Mijungu, Debarl Inea, Harith Salim among others.
Reacting to the lay off, Wanga penned
‘When you become a statistic! We shall rise from these ashes, like the phoenix.’
Ken had taken to his social media to announce his layoff in a short but precise post captioned
“The axe fell at NTV’s newsroom and I was on its way. 7 years in those corridors summed up in a two-page letter of termination.
“We live to fight another day. Thanks to God, He remains the greatest, thank you NTV for the opportunity and thank you for always staying tuned,”
NTV is the latest media house to lay off it’s workers.’
In June 2020, media max laid off a lot of it’s employees something that left most them with a bitter taste in the mouth.
Like they say when one door closes another opens, we hope that they will be able to pick up the pieces and move on.
Life isn’t that serious.
