Kenyans usually join other people around the world to celebrate valentine’s Day on every 14 month of February yearly. The day is also known as Saint Valentine. On this day lovers usually express their affection with greetings and gifts.

The day was first celebrated in the 5th century in Rome. Then it was known as Rupercalia which was latter changed by Gelasius I who baptized it as St. Valentine’s Day.
