When you think of a perfect example of a man who has risen from grass to grace, then only one name comes to mind and that is none other than James Kang’ethe popularly known as Bonoko.
Having grown up in the streets of Nairobi, Bonoko rose to become one of the biggest household names in the country.
His story is not new to many people, but to date he admits there are things he never thought he would ever do.
In 2017, the outspoken presenter had a chance to fly for a gig in Dubai with his co-host Dj Bling.
Over the weekend Bonoko had his first ever solo flight over the weekend as he jetted from Mombasa to Nairobi’s Wilson airport an experience he says was more than exciting.
“I had gone to Likoni to visit children at Victory children’s home, then of course enjoyed Mombasa. I came back on a flight from Mombasa to Wilson in Lang’ata and I loved the experience. The crew on Airjet were so friendly. All this is just God” He said
The presenter boarded a charter plane from Mombasa international airport to Nairobi.
