Ghetto Radio on Tuesday April 18th joined friends and family of the late Myles Ndegwa alias Maspana at the Lang’ata cemetery for his burial.

Maspanna was a frequent caller

Ghetto Radio Managing Director who also hosts the breakfast show described Maspana as a brilliant boy who spoke his mind.

“Maspana is a young man whom I knew through his calls at Ghetto radio.  We never missed his call during our shows and he shared the reality facing Maringo area. We have lost a fan who had a bright future in the world of politics,” said Majimaji.

Friends who attended the burial said that they knew about Maspana through Ghetto Radio since he frequently called to share stories about Maringo Estate where he came from.

“Personally I knew Maspana through Ghetto Radio. He never missed to call and share his part of life. He was jovial even the time we meet with him at Igathe’s place. It’ painful for us to burry Maspana,” Attributed one friend.

He was a disciplined boy

Maspanna’s mother Esther Ndegwa described him as a disciplined boy who was industrious in his life.

“He was a good boy who worked hard both as a mechanic DJ and a MC. We have lost our future,” said Ms. Ndegwa

Maspanna died on the 6th of April after a short illness.

His mother said that he died while still undergoing treatment for his illness at the Mama Lucy Hospital.

Other Ghetto Radio staff members who attended the burial are DJ Double Trouble, Bonoko, Nancy, Elishifa Wangeshi, Edgar Ogutu, Stephen Chege among others.

On Saturday a number of staff members also attended his wake at their Mringo home in Estlands, Nairobi.
